March 8 - Fr. Francisco Nahoe
Please register online for the March 8 breakfast with Fr. Francisco Nahoe. The breakfast begins, as always, at 7 am at the Silver Legacy in downtown Reno. Doors open at 6:30 am with coffee and chat.
Fr. Francisco Nahoe graduated from Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts and a little later took a degree in Philosophy from Pomona College in Claremont, California. Later still he received another degree in Sacred Theology at the Pontifical Seraphicum in Rome, Italy. He has been a Franciscan of the Order of Friars Minor Conventual for many years, during which time he has served the Church and the Order in California, Costa Rica, Italy, Poland and Polynesia. He has taught at Bishop Montgomery, a Catholic high school in the South Bay beach city of Torrance, California. Fr. Francisco is currently rector of Thomas Aquinas Cathedral in Reno.
Fr. Francisco will present “Lenten Spirituality: Does traditional Catholic piety have a place in contemporary society?”
